The full DevThrottle app is open source and runs on your machines. Read the code, run the releases, change what you like — the license is MIT, and it stays that way.

What you get without paying anyone.

Everything below runs on your own compute at no cost. There is no trial clock on it and no feature gate — a subscription only ever pays for things we run for you.

  • The full Windows app - the Director, the mission-control dashboard
  • Orchestrate unlimited coding agents, side by side
  • Your own gateway on your own machine - agents keep running with the window closed
  • The wingman on your own compute
  • Remote access with Tailscale

The source.

Running your own gateway is the do-it-yourself path.

An honest note before you start: self-hosted means self-configured. The app itself installs with a friendly wizard and connects to any gateway URL you give it. Standing up your own gateway is different: it means keeping a machine on, setting up remote access, and maintaining the host yourself. Installers for it exist in the repository, but the self-managed path gets less polish than the hosted service — expect to be comfortable on your own. If you would rather not be, we run the gateway for you.
