How does the 14-day trial work?
Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro - the hosted gateway, dictation, and the wingman. All it takes is a signup with your email. No card, no payment step. When the trial ends you can subscribe to keep the hosted service, or keep using the free app on your own machines.
What is the founding price?
While we launch, Pro is $29 a month instead of the $49 list price. The founding price is locked for as long as you stay subscribed - it never goes up on you. When founding pricing ends, new members pay the list price; existing members keep theirs.
Can I run DevThrottle without a subscription?
Yes. The app is open source under the MIT license - the Director, the dashboard, unlimited agents, and your own gateway all run on your own machines at no cost, forever. A subscription only ever pays for things we run for you: the hosted gateway, dictation, and the brain. One honest caveat: self-hosted means self-configured - you set up and maintain your own gateway yourself, with the guides in the GitHub repository. Can I run Pro on my own gateway?
Yes - that is Pro self-host: $24 a month founding price ($39 list). You run the gateway on your own machine, and we supply the AI - the wingman, dictation, and spoken replies, running against our models. It is everything in Pro except the hosting, which is why it costs a little less. The wingman and voice work through your DevThrottle account, from inside the app.
What is Max and the founders list?
Max is the fleet brain - the Session Manager, one brain across every agent you run, and the Workflow Manager, which drives multi-step work to completion. It is announced but not for sale yet. Joining the founders list gets you first access when it ships, at the $99 founding price instead of the $149 list price.
What does Enterprise add?
Teams. Multiple people on one shared account, roles and central management, and priority support, priced per seat. Everything in Max is included.
Do I need a card to create an account?
No. You create an account with just your email - no card, not even for the trial.
How are prices set?
We keep pricing simple and public, and we never raise your price without telling you first. Founding prices never rise at all while you stay subscribed.
