The signature
Literary calm on pure black. Titles are a light, sharp book serif, large and tightly tracked, in warm off-white, and centred like a title page. Anything factual (dates, figures, axes) switches to a monospaced voice. Structure comes from dotted rules and a single 1px white outline around each figure, never from fills or cards.
